Goldbergs has been an Atlanta staple since the opening of the original Roswell Road location in 1972. On Oct. 30, the premier bagel company and deli will opens its ninth set of doors in Avalon.
Goldbergs boasts authentic New York style bagels—boiled, then baked, just as they should be—and complete deli service including meats and seafood flown in daily from New York, a variety of fresh salads and homemade bread baked fresh each morning, as well as a full family dining experience.
The Avalon location will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner and feature fresh and innovative menu items that still pay homage to the company’s classic deli roots.
“It’s been an incredible 22 years in Atlanta, and we have no intentions of slowing down,” says owner Wayne Saxe, who took over the company in 1992. “We are proud to be a part of Avalon and looking forward to extending the Goldbergs family.”
Goldbergs proudly partners with Illy Caffe gourmet coffee and will offer extensive beverage service including coffees, fresh brewed teas, vegetable juices, and—of course—an incredible selection of bagels and pastries.
Each location is special in its own way, and Avalon promises to be no different. Friendly, knowledgeable staff treat guests as friends, because that’s no doubt what they will become after a couple of visits. Familiar faces are to be expected any time you dine at Goldbergs.
Goldbergs Avalon will be the first location with full bar service, gluten-free offerings and nightly dinner specials. Alcoholic beverage service will be available throughout lunch and dinner. Expect to see specialty cocktails, craft beer selections, wine by the glass and signature drinks, including a classic Bloody Mary to complete your Sunday brunch.
And from business meetings to staff or family functions, Goldbergs full service catering menu has your group covered.
If you’re seeking that warm, crusty-on-the-outside-chewy-on-the-inside bite of perfection that only a Goldberg bagel can bring, then the wait is almost over for Alpharetta.
$10.99 - As is the case with any New York deli, the Brooklyn Reuben at Goldberg’s in a must-try, combining corned beef, Sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and homemade Russian dressing on rye brad.
