Crú demystifies the world of wine, and make hundreds of wines accessible to you in an elegant, casually hip environment.
Guests can select from premium wines by the glass or choose a red or white wine flight, which includes a taste of three wines that are related to one another by grape varietal, geographic region or style. Wines range from moderately priced to rare finds, and are handpicked to pair well with shared appetizers, individual-sized gourmet pizzas, and spectacular entrees as well as a variety of imported and domestic cheeses.
Established in 2002 with locations in Dallas, Houston, Austin and Denver, Crú is a culinary creation of Restaurant Works, Inc., a Dallas-based hospitality management company started by highly regarded restaurateur and hotelier, Patrick Colombo.
“The Crú Food & Wine Bar experience is comparable to any of the tasting rooms featured at top wineries around the world,” Colombo explains. “Experiencing wine in this setting will allow guests to become both comfortable and educated with wines while thoroughly enjoying themselves. We are very excited to bring the Cru brand to Alpharetta, Georgia and look forward to serving the Avalon community.
The interior is cleverly designed to create three separate seating environments — an al fresco patio, lounge and wine bar — within one comfortable space that includes the outdoors.
